I use to LOVE reading before becoming a mom. Don’t get me wrong, I still do, but man is it hard! I’ve been committing the 9-10pm hour to reading, which has also helped me with sleeping! Any who, here are some of the books I’ve been reading.

The Teacher by Freida McFadden

HIGHLY RECCOMEND! When love scandal’s are connected and end in a murder, this is a must read! There are two stories happening, you follow a student and a teacher in their respective settings. Just when you think you know the ending, Freida throws you a curve ball! I could not put this book down! It is a great mix of romance (a little spicy!) and mystery.

The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood

Another I recommend! It’s an easy to read romance. It’s about a PhD student and a teacher falling for each other and how they navigate it. There is a little spice level in this one as well. It’s cheesy and cute and just what I need at the end of a long day.

The Chain by Adrian McKinty

This is a super good book, BUT, can be pretty hard to read as a mom. It’s about a mom getting this awful call about her daughter and having to save her daughter from this “game”. She would go to the ends of the world for her, and I can relate. I would do anything for my kiddo. It’s a good book, but as a parent, I could not imagine getting a call like this and having to play this game.

The Other Mrs. by Mary Kubica

I downloaded the app called Libby and you can hook your library card up to it and “rent” books for free through it. So I’ve been doing audio books during the day on Libby.

I had never heard of this author, but the cover looked good to me, and it was pretty good. If you liked The Teacher, I think you would like this one. It’s a love story mixed with murder. There is a murder right down the street from this family and things get a little sus, so the main character tries to figure out what actually happened..
